The Savage Axis II XP in 25-06 Rem is a factory package bolt-action rifle built for field use. It ships with a button-rifled 22" barrel, a factory-mounted, bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope, and a four-round detachable box magazine.
Out of the box features include Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger™, thread-in barrel headspacing, and a synthetic stock construction on XP synthetic/camo models. Certain XP package variants also include a one-piece rail for scope mounting and are supplied with a mounted 3-9x40 scope, delivering a ready-to-hunt package.
