The R81205 Tactical is built on the proven Model 870 pump platform and ships with an extended magazine tube to provide a 6+1 total capacity configuration as offered by Remington/RemArms production runs. The shotgun retains the 870's cross-bolt (push-button) safety located rear of the trigger and traditional tube-magazine feeding. It is marketed/configured for tactical and law-enforcement / home-defense applications as a compact 18.5in barreled tactical shotgun with a fixed pistol-grip style stock.
