The Remington 870 Express in synthetic configuration is a pump-action field shotgun built on the Model 870 family. This configuration features a black synthetic stock and fore-end with a 28" vent-rib barrel fitted for Rem® interchangeable choke tubes. Built to cycle 2 3/4" and 3" shotshells, the Express series offers a traditional cross-bolt safety and a tubular magazine (catalog listings for the synthetic vent-rib models show a 4-round magazine capacity).
