The KelTec P17 is a compact, lightweight .22 LR semi-automatic pistol built for range training and recreational shooting. It uses a straight blowback, hammer-fired single-action system and accepts a single-stack 16-round magazine with capacity for one in the chamber. Factory features verified by the manufacturer include a fiber-optic front sight with an adjustable rear sight, a 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzle for muzzle device or suppressor mounting, and an integral picatinny-style accessory rail forward of the trigger guard.
