The G17 Gen5 is Glock’s full-size, Gen5 variant of the original G17 platform. It uses the Safe Action® system, a GLOCK Marksman barrel (improved polygonal rifling and crown), and the Gen5 frame redesign that removed finger grooves and adds a flared mag-well and an ambidextrous slide stop for faster reloads and ambidextrous use. The model is offered from the factory in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finishes.
