Colt’s 1911 Competition is a Series 70 single-action 1911-style pistol built for practical/target shooting. The Competition government-size models use a 5" National Match barrel, Novak elevation-adjustable rear sight and a fiber-optic Novak front sight, and ship with Colt-branded blue G10 grip panels. The pistol features Colt’s Series 70 firing system and an extended single-side thumb safety with an upswept beavertail grip safety.
