Gas Impingement Operating System-This system work by bleeding Propellant gas through a small hole located in the barrel, which is then channeled through a very small tube where it can flow through the rifle and cycle the bolt carrier operating system is proven to be cleaner, more accurate, and more cooperative with suppressors than other AR-15 operating systems.
Forged T6-7075 Aluminum Receiver-These receivers are constructed by taking two sheets of aluminum and melting them together giving Mossberg a solid block of steel so they can proceed to design a strong and reliable lower receiver correctly.
Picatinny Rail-The Picatinny rail starts at the beginning of the receiver and ends at the end of the handguard, giving you plenty of room to mount your optic of choice.
