Seller Description

I have a Tower pistols from 30 years made in different calibers most are .69 caliber and can take a .65 round ball with a thick piece of wadding patch. This pistol is one of the Japanese made firing replicas of the English “Tower” style muzzle loaders, proof and stamp marks Spanish and the Italians also made copies of this gun, but the Japanese did the best job, by gun is in good condition overall, 15” in overall length with visible proof marks and smoothbore I said not really 's a smoothbore. Single shot muzzle loading British flintlock style pistol. 9” round barrel, “cannon” style barrel of approximately .69 trigger guard, butt cap, thimbles, and side walnut has been handled but I’ve never fired it. I think about 30 grains of Black powder should be safe, but if yours is a flintlock like these it should use 4FFFF priming powder for the 3FFF or 2FF in the are inaccurate as hell and have a stout powder shooters know the 4F only need a small amount at each also have to know how to set up the flint so it sparks. I do not have the serviceable, machine cut flint.
