You are bidding on one (1) Ithaca/SKB 280E 20 gauge double-barrelled shotgun, in excellent condition. As you likely know, this model has an English-grip buttstock and beavertail forend along with 25" barrels choked IC and Modified. It is expressly designed for lightweight carry and fast handling for hunting flushing birds like quail, woodcock, grouse, or pheasant. An aftermarket adjustable butt plate has been fitted by a prior owner and the LOP is 13.5"... I am 5'6" with a 32" sleeve length and this gun shoulders and points excellently for anyone under 6' and without ape-like arms, especially when wearing a hunting coat. The gun weighs around 6 lbs and is a pleasure to carry and shoot. There is one small mark on the blueing that looks like a 1/2" hair, on the right barrel just ahead of the forend on the bottom. The gun rates at NRA Excellent, and the bores are spotless. I acquired this beautiful gun, a dream gun from my youth, a few years ago, took it shooting once and enjoyed it, but have too many shotguns and no time to hunt. It's time to let someone else enjoy it, and just in time for upland bird hunting season!
