J.C. Higgins Model 103.229 - Bolt Action - .22 Rifle - Smooth walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a front bead sight. Receiver grooved for scope. Tubular magazine can accept 24 Short, 20 Long and 18 LR ammo. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 95% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is exceptional for the age of rifle . Manufactured from 1940 to 1965 by Marlin for J.C. Higgins. Very nice addition to your J.C. Higgins / Sears collection.

All of pour rifles have been cleaned and lubricated.
