Seller Description
Your real Cowboy sixgun made in 1898. Serial number 1803xx, all matching. The left side of its 4.75" Barrel is roll-stamped with COLT FRONTIER SIXSHOOTER and the small 2 line Hartford address on top. In spite of being 114 years old, it locks up tight and shoots well, though I don't like to shoot guns that old, so I seldom shot it in the 52 years that I have owned it. Some blue in protected places and even some case colors. Notice how nice the screws are. Weighing a perfect 2 lbs., 5 oz., it makes a comfortable meaty handful of Old West armament that may have graced some lucky man's holster.
