Antique Brown Bess Musket .75 antique bayonet and replacement white leather correct sling from Dixie lock plate is marked TOWER and a Crown GR with an Arrow, bayonet is marked with a weak Crown barrel is 39" long & the musket overall is 55" long, it has a repaired butt plate, some pitting on the lock, good patina overall and nicks and wear from 200 years of musket and bayonet are in good to very good condition from what I have seen on the web. I have owned it since 1959 and have tried to keep it in as good of condition as expert that has seen it thinks it is a India Pattern used by the British from 1797-1854 as the standard infantry musket & bayonet was brought back from England by US Army . Poindexter after buyer will be contacted with the actual ground shipping costs and any insurance costs that they may want to add for protection of the purchase. I am selling my entire antique gun collection so I must ask the buyer to look at the pictures, ask all questions and please bid as is with no return. This is a very good musket & bayonet overall.
