This Star BKS is the small, alloy framed 9mm Parabellum made by Star from the 1960s until their is in execellent condition, both the finish and the pistol is a smaller version of the 1911 that is meant to be carries cocked and has fixed sights, a thumb safety and walnut grip lightweight frame is made of aluminum alloy,the slide and internal parts are made of hardened pistol comes in the original box with one factory "BKS" marked magasine and two aftermarket magazines which have a trick to inserting them into the depressing the magazine catch to release the prior magazine the catch is held down while the next magazine is inserted; simple and is in 97% condition but there are no tools or paperwork with this desireable is often spoken of as the most reliable and desireable of all Star are hard to find today in any shape but especially in this extra powerful Wolff spring allows +P 9mm ammunition.
