Built to classic Soviet milspec but with synthetic furniture and a folding stock, this Arsenal SAM7SF-84E is matte black throughout. Each SAM7 receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer-forged blank by Arsenal-Bulgaria, whose meticulous attention to detail in the 5+ hr milling process delivers a receiver of unequaled strength, precision and durability. Bolt and and bolt carrier are also hammer-forged, as is the 16” chrome-lined barrel, threaded14x1 LH and capped with a detachable AK-74 style muzzle brake. The FIME Enhanced FCG delivers a short, light, and smooth trigger pull without the “slap” found in many AK designs. The rifle accepts standard "hi-cap" AK mags. 1 10-rd OEM mag will ship with the rifle (please verify legality in your jurisdiction!) An AK-type scope bracket is permanently mounted on the left side of the receiver for easy attachment of a rail and / or scope. The stock is a black tubular-steel unit which folds to the right and is captured by a spring-loaded catch at the front of the receiver. A minimalist rubber-cushioned butt plate caps the stock. The foreend, reinforced with a stainless heat shield, and checkered pistol grip are matte black polymer. The front sight is a conventional AK-type post, protected by wings and adjustable for elevation and windage. The rear sight, located at the rear of the barrel, is a leaf, adjustable for elevation to an optimistic 800 meters.
