Smith & Wesson 39-2 9mm Double Action Generation model with nickel finish, 1970's vintage, excellent condition with factory original includes one 8-shot magazine with a 4 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips, adjustable rear sight, and alloy particular model was produced as an improved version of the Model 39 all steel frame model produced only in Model 39-2 was manufactured from particular model for sale here is in excellent condition with no issues regarding metallic finish, sights, bore, action, grips would rate as very good with few diamonds missing and very small ding on left side grip near grip screw as can be seen in image one of these Model 39-2 pistols have appreciated in recent years and according to my online subscription of Blue Book of Gun Values, the fair market value of this model in excellent condition has basically doubled since 2006. I am pricing this gun for sale based on BBGV’s appraisal based on its condition and the fact that it is in the rarer nickel finish and includes its original factory is numbered to this gun as can be seen in image 5 above and is in excellent, basically mint condition. I've not shot this gun and based on inspection of the breach area of the gun's action it looks like it has been fired very little if ever in its forty+ years in pictures I’ve included pretty much sum up the condition of this gun but please let me know if you would like to see additional you’re looking for a 1970’s vintage S&W Model 39-2 in factory nickel finish in its factory original box then this rig would be difficult to improve upon.
