New Knights Armament carbine (M4) length Rail Adapter System, same as issued to US troops for the M4 and M4A1 carbines. Converts AR-15, M4, M4A1 carbines with Mil-Spec M4 profile (.840" diameter) barrels into the MWS (Modular Weapon System) configurations. Machined from aircraft grade aluminum with aluminum heat shields and is T-marked for quick mounting and remounting of accessories. Two piece rail installs without front sight removal or special gunsmithing tools. Includes 9 black KAC rail covers and a vertical fore-grip in a compact carrying pouch. Rail cover selection can vary slightly but usually has 2 or 1 3-rib, 1 5-rib, 2 7-rib and 4 or 5 11-rib covers. This allows you to use a variety of rail mounted accessories without tearing up your hands or damaging the exposed rails. The KAC RAS retails for over $350 and only includes 3 11-rib rail covers. The vertical fore-grip is another $40-$50 and the additional rail covers are $30+. These are new, non-blemished units complete with the accessories most charge much extra for. This is a fantastic deal for this quality made rail system!
