The Ruger SR-556FB Rifle is a gas-operated, piston-driven, box magazine fed autoloading AR15 type rifle chambered for 5.56mm NATO/.223 “FB” version was the top-of-the-line Ruger AR15 type rifle with an MSRP of $1,995 when purchased. It is extremely well-made, durable and backed up by America’s leading firearms manufacturer.
The mechanism employs the Ruger short stroke piston system in conjunction with a rotating , the rifle runs clean and cool around the firing is wearing the Ruger black synthetic, collapsible stock providing an overall Length of 32.75" - 36.00" and length of pull 10.25" - 13.50." A four (4) position adjustable gas regulator is provided up front. The front end wears a Picatinny quad rail handguard plus three (3) Ruger handguard covers. The finish is Manganese Phosphate/Hardcoat with folding BattleSights™
Rig includes a Hi-Lux Optics CMR 14-24 scope with mount. Specs: 30mm tube; 1 – 4 X 24 optics; illuminated ranging reticle; Burris PEPR mount; original box and Owner’s Manual.
