This is a "one owner" original lever action Marlin Model 1895- 45/70.
It's had only about 5 rounds fired from it so it's in like new condition.
Why so few rounds fired? Because it kicks like a then had
a recoil butt pad installed, however, afterwards it was never fired..
And yes, it has the genuine “JM” stamp on the barrel.
It was purchased in the early 1970's and has been stored in a dry air
tight safe and now is being offered up for ’s in pristine condition
and a great gun for the serious hunter or collector of firearms.
