This proves once and for all that AK's can be a truly beautiful thing! We start with the original military laminated wood stock set. The old finish is removed and the wood is then carefully sanded and prepped. Next, a custom reddish-brown stain is hand applied to bring out the beautiful color highlights of the wood lamination. After the wood is stained, multiple coats of Tru-Oil are expertly rubbed on by hand to finish setting the color highlights and protect the finished wood. All of the metal is bead blasted and carefully prepped for hot bluing. Our hot bluing process uses a cutom formulatin of bluing salts that gives a deep satin black finish that literally puts it in a class of its own. But the hand crafted wood and satin black metal finish are only part of the story. The brand new American made DC Industries (NoDak Spud) receiver is made from Ordnance Grade 4130 steel. It is fully heat treated to 40 on the Rockwell "C" Scale for maximum strength and durability. The receiver is a TRUE double stack hi-capacity receiver with the correct "dimples" that securely hold magazines and drums for proper feed and function. Key receiver rivets are heat-set for added strength. This custom AK47 rifle features the original military chrome lined barrel with bayonet lug and original style threaded slant muzzle break. A TAPCO G2 trigger group is installed to provide a super smooth 3 to 4 lb. trigger pull. This custom built package includes the original bayonet, sheath, leather frog, magazine pouch, metal oiler bottle, cigar tube cleaning kit, leather sling PLUS an original broken shell extractor! You also get Two(2) 30rd synthetic polymer magazines. These TAPCO magazines are US made, 40% lighter than steel mags, rustproof, and feature a lifetime warranty from TAPCO! The wood finishes vary based on grain, color and laminations- they are truly unique!
