***Reduced Price*** (Accept OBO) This a Marlin 1895 CB in 45-70. The gun has been carried a bit but fired less than 50 rounds. Blueing is 97% +. There a few small (<0.5mm) rust spots on the receiver left side, top, and right side. No pitting. Fewer than 20 spots total. None on the barrel, lever, lower receiver or other metal parts. The hammer shows normal loss of bluing.(see photos) Wood is about 98% w/some small dings in butt stock near butt on bottom. Bore is perfect. Muzzle is perfect as well. Shoots 2" or less at 100 yds w/ 300g Win factory HP's. Currently has Montana Vintage Arms (MVA) Combinaton front sight (like a Lyman #5), and a Smith Enterprises Flip Up rear sight (patterned after original Winchester sights) w/ two ladders(one peep and one notch) (like Brownells #851-018-101). I do have the original factory sights, and a scope hammer extension. These are included the factory sights with the gun. I will also sell the gun for $470.00 with out the MVA front sight and the Smith Ent. rear sights, and the factory originals re-installed.
This is a great cowboy gun with correct period type sight that will work well in Lever Cowboy silhouette, or Hunting with original type sights. The sights help in shooting accurately and quickly.
