The following is a Marlin Model 336 chambered in .35 Remington (micro-groove barrel). According to the serial number U XXX (Very low serial number), this item was manufactured in the early 1960s (much higher quality than current production). This item sports a 19-inch barrel and a Marlin Brand “Micro- Power” scope and base (light handling marks present, but works great). This item would be in near perfect condition if it did not have some light surface rust on the front of the barrel, lever, scope mount screws, and mag tube (original owner stored improperly). I would rate the overall condition of the firearm including the wood stock at 85%. This item appears to have been shot very item has a sharp bore free of pitting and a nice tight wood has nice figure and is in near perfect condition minus some very light handling marks. I shot a box of Remington brand ammo through this weapon and it fired and ejected without would make a great hunting note that this item was pictured with a heavy coat of feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or for looking!
