The BB was for barrel bushing as Colt was testing this new finger style collet bushing for use on the soon to come out 70 series. The BB seriel number Colts where very few and made for a short time in 1969 and this colt is one of those rare finds. This colt is all original un-altered with all original parts including one original magazine that says, COLT 45 AUTO and all is in great used condition. Serial #BB3337XX-C with BB also stamped on barrel,Bluing is about 90% with very little wear marks as it has been in my family for many many years. This great pistol shoots right on the money and has always been taken care of and kept in top shooting condition. As seen in picture it has the original Colt factory reddish grips with horse on them and they fit the frame perfect,also included a set of buffalo bros carved grips. Also comes with extra parts such as, springs, grips screws, 3 extra military style older mags and a original Colt era box with instuctions. Just a great collectors 1911 Colt pistol.
