Brain-child of Eugene Stoner, the AR-7 Explorer was the first commercial weapon to be put into production by the ArmaLite Division of Fairchild. This rifle was manufactured in the late 60's at Armalite's Costa Mesa plant. My dad purchsed it NIB. We shot many a varmint with this rifle - it never missed or jammed. Rifle is in excellent condition with noticeable wear on butt plate.
