The two-toned look was acquired through many hours of research and planning. I ordered all the parts from Ruger and Power Custom. The only thing original on this Ruger Super Blackhawk is the mainframe and a few internal parts and the rear sight. A Shilen 6.5" barrel has been installed, with a recessed crown and an extra-tall front sight for shooting Garrett 310gr Hammerheads, and the revolver is sighted in for this awesome custom cartridge. This revolver will take any species on the planet with proper sight placement. This revolver is virtually NIB with only enough rounds shot through it to sight in the gun for the above load. I am selling this revolver only for what it cost me to have it built, including all the parts I ordered for it. You will not find another like it. It is one BEAUTIFUL, AWESOME revolver! Here is all the parts and all that I had done to the revolver: *Power custom free spin pawl installed. *Bisley grip frame (Stainless Steel) installed, along with SS grip frame screws. *Hogue black pearlized grip panels installed. *Heavy, unfluted 5-shot cylinder installed, with barrel/cylinder gap set at .003". *Stainless base pin bushing installed. (You can install shims later after a lot of shooting to prevent endshake. These are cheap and easy for you to do to keep your cylinder tight) *Action job with trigger pull set at about 2.5lbs. *Power Custom Stainless Steel Trigger, Hammer and springs installed. *Belt Mountain #5 Keith-style base pin installed, with set-screw to prevent loosening under heavy load shooting. *Stainless ejector rod and spring installed. *Stainless loading gate installed. *Stainless trigger pin and hammer pin installed. *Most internal parts are blued, with some replaced with stainless steel. *All internal and external surfaces buffed and smoothed. *Mainframe re-blued a dark, semi-matte blue, with cylinder blued a bright blue. I really don't want to part with this revolver, but the hard times and the economy are forcing me to. Comes with a RH Simply Rugged hand made holster made by Rob Leahy in dark brown. $75.00 just for the holster. I will also send the original Ruger box with the gun, though it was originally a 5.5" revolver.
