Lay Away purchase collectable, yet useable, hunting rifle that can be shipped to your door! 1895 Chilean Mauser, DWM Berlin, 7mm, its appearance, this rifle was very nicely sporterized in the 1950's, the barrel has been shortened to 22", the trigger has been worked and has a nice break, quality Williams iron sights - raised front brass bead and rear buckhorn ramp with brass trimmed base, two piece scope mounts, heavy duty quick detach rings, quality bolt turn down, low swing safety, and topped off with a vintage collectible steel tube 2.5X scope with fine crosshairs and brass end scope is either a Lyman or a Weaver, I can't find any markings anywhere and I've never looked under ther rings, it's a classic scope from the 50's - 60' rifle has a great bore and shoots under 2" groups at 100yds the photo of a recent group I shot, about 1.8", this was shot with off the shelf S&B 173gr, at 100yds, prone position with a rest, just before sundown, and with a 50+ year old 2.5X scope! So this setup needs nothing to take it hunting, or this rifle could be even more accurate with better optics and a tuned rifle is set in a very nice dark cherry walnut classic style Monte Carlo stock with great checkering, buttpad, and raised rifle is fully functional and has a strong bore, the finish is pretty strong with normal use wear at the common wear rifle was likely sporterized in the 1950's and does not appear to have been modified numbers match for the receiver, barrel and is a great hunting rifle, built on the proven Mauser action, chambered in 7mm Mauser - great for anything deer sized or smaller, and can be shipped directly to your door in most my personal collection and I stand behind my rifle is a pre 1899 antique and can be shipped directly to the buyer in most states.
