Called about the overall condition of the rifle, the bore, finish, wood, etc. He assured me that this was a nice, solid little 1906 with a nice bore. Three long cracks in stock, one crack in forearm. Bore pitted, one screw missing, tube ferrules dented, incorrect action plate screw. Vice jaw marks on barrel just foreward of receiver. Extremely disappointed.
