It is the most prevalent model of all that were produced between 1982 and 2005. This particular pistol was manufactured in February 1987, the same year that I purchased it new from a dealer. The serial number is 213-71XXX. The pistol is made of Stainless Steel and features a long 6 7/8 inch tapered barrel. The overall length is 11 7/8 inches and weight of 40 ounces. It has adjustable target sights and comes with two 10 round magazines. It also includes the original box it came in when purchased. Immediately after I purchased the pistol, it was taken to a Professional Gunsmith (one of the best in the US) who created a custom finish on the frame. The entire exposed outside surface area of the frame was basted with "soft media" to create a uniform non shiny /reflective surface whereby fingerprints and over-handling marks on the stainless steel surface are minimized, if not completely eliminated. Though not exactly the same, it gives the appearance of a "brushed" or "parkerized" finish. The resulting contrast between the frame and the barrel distinguish the attributes of both, while remarkably enhancing the overall appearance the pistol. In case you are not familiar with "soft media blasting," I'll be pleased to email you more detailed information that explains the process. The pistol has been fired only once and with no more than 50 rounds put through it. The gun is in excellent condition and, with exception of the custom finish, in like new condition. I've taken several digital macro photos of it to illustrate and substantiate my representation of the pistol. I welcome requests for all the additional photos including any other specific views you might wish to see. This gun is truly an eye catcher and conversation piece, but more importantly a manageable and extremely accurate firearm. This gun is being sold in used “as-is” condition and because it is also a part of my entire estate disposal sale, it is therefore deemed a final sale item with no refund or exchange offered.
