This pistol has been ranked from 75% to 85%. (Very good)It has been firied only rarely. The gun has been well cared for and its only negatives are non-original grips and it was reblued once. (Otherwise this would be a 90% in my opinion.) Barrel lands/grooves extra good, very tight cylinder and action. Frame marked with RAC armory mark. Includes 4 boxes of ammo plus a box of 45 Long Colt ammo and a padded cammo carrying bag. Generic Holster is included, but strap snap no longer operates as gun was a stop-gap weapon until the 45 cal. ACP Automatic was produced/delivered to bring the knock-down power needed for the indigenous tribesman (the army issue 38 caliber pistol was found lacking in kinetic energy), no holster was ever designed specifically for this weapon. This pistol has been in the family some time and rarely shot. Very clean with only a few very superficial scratches. Butt Serial number 32432, Barrel is 7.5 inch and is marked: Colt Hartford, Ct. Patent Aug 5, 1884 June 5 1900 and July 4 1905. I will email additional photos to serious offers.
It is my desire that this pistol find an owner who appreciates a historical weapon and will not abuse it due to the rarity of the weapon.
