Description: Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen. Serial number 419627 has a 30-inch barrel and 1902 cartouche date. Markings include an "N" and a cartouche just behind the trigger guard on the toe line. CONDITION: Bore is gray, rifling shows wear and has a general light roughness. Cartouche is strong. Metal finish is thin and silvered. Wood is good, with some chipping at base of butt plate and hairlines at both ends of the barrel cover and at the tang. Price firm. Layaway considered.
