This specimen is in execellent condition. It has the dull factory topstrap as well as the factory dull bottom of the frame and triggerguard. The remainder of the revolver is bright blue. There is a tiny bit of edge wear that makes this a 99% gun. It is also equipped with Fatory original "Coltwood" composition grips. The collector this came from displayed his Colts under armored glass and did not save the boxs or paperwork. The tiny bit of edge wear makes me think it may have been carried in a holster for a short period of time. However NYPD Officers were required to furnish thier own weapons and so it wouldn't have been department marked.
