Seller Description
Very fine Colt Lightning .22 rifle with 24" tapered octagon barrel and 3/4 mag. Tang rear peep sight and blade front. Barrel and mag retain 92% of the Colt blue and receiver sides feature 95% plus deep lustrous blue with outstanding Rampant Colt. Dust cover had silvered but receiver top retains its blue. Lower tang is mottled. Stock is sound retaining its varnish finish and the Rampant Colt buttplate is excellent. Forend is very good with a small hairline crack at the mounting screw. Mechanics are excellent and bore is very good. Overall an extremely attractive Lightning.
