This beautiful revolver comes with a 5 1/2" barrel, fixed sights, walnut grip, lanyard ring, and of course Colt's trademark rearing-colt emblem is stamped on the left side of the frame. The finish is the ORIGINAL, RARE blue finish. Most of these guns were refurbished with a military parkerized finish before being retired from military service, but not this one! This revolver is in incredible condition, with an excellent bore and clean finish. The grip is nearly completely unmarked but has had a clear coat applied! This revolver was the standard for all U.S. military personnel in World War I. Not only is it unlikely that you will find another revolver like this, you certainly will not find one at this price!
