This was professionally glass bedded into a new McMillan stock (Sako Hunter style, olive green), with better strength/durability than original wood stock, and with better recoil pad (1" Pachmayr Decelerator). Blued action and barrel professionally cerakoted graphite black (by Sur-Tac Gear). Trigger tuned, crisp 3 lbs (approx.) with no creep. Only about 70 rounds down the tube during only 3 trips to the range. Otherwise a safe queen. Never completed load development because I started with too many combinations and have not had time. I'm simply downsizing my collection of lesser used guns due to limited time to shoot. Rifle has great balance and an unusually solid feel. Professional gunsmith made tiny bevel to chamber opening to remove sharp edge. 30mm Ruger rings, cerakoted to match rifle. Iron sights, ivory bead front. Factory scope mounts detach quickly and return to point of aim. Barrel-mounted front swivel stud. This is perfect configuration for dangerous game rifle. Like new condition. Purchased new about 4 or 5 years ago for close to $900. Stock, cerakoting, and bedding/floating added another approximately $700, for total investment of around $1600. Scope in some pictures (Leupold VX 6 1-6x24mm illuminated) not included, but listed for sale separately.
