It is a Winchester Model 1895 takedown 30-06 cal rifle, 24" barrel. Serial #411068, mfg.1924. It has a Lyman 21 "Climbin Lyman" receiver swivel peep sight, D.W.King dovetail rear leaf sight, Winchester Express front sight with brass bead. Metal shows grayish blue on the barrel and receiver. Action is smooth and tight. All the stamped lettering and dates are clear and readable. It has a Crescent buttplate, original wood finished buttstock and forearm. Never sanded and in real nice condition,showing minimal signs ware or handling marks. Bore looks excellent, great rifling, bright and no pitting. Overall condition is very good and in the hard to find desirable 30-06 caliber. This is priced to sell. More pictures sent upon request. FFL or C&R transfer is required.
