Here’s a great gun and a fun gun to shoot! It’s my Olympic Arms – CAR-AR. It’s Pre-Ban and I contacted Olympic Arms to confirm the manufacture date; which I was told was between 03/09/88 and 05/08/89. It’s configured as a CAR-15 (Shorty AR-15), most similar to the current Olympic Arms K3B-CAR - AR-15 Carbine. The upper has an 11.5” barrel with a permanently attached flash suppressor bringing the overall barrel length to 16” Condition is Excellent. When I bought it had very little use (I estimate well about 500 rounds through it) and I have put less than 100 through it. It’s a fun gun, don’t read anything into the fact that I have only shot it a few times. It’s just that I am a long range, high-power guy and shorties just aren’t my thing. It is very accurate for what it is – off-hand I have been able to keep groups under 2” at 100 yards. Here’s a “Quick Reference” of this weapon: - Pre-Ban - 11.5” Barrel (w/ 5” Suppressor) - Single Stage Trigger - Collapsing Stock (4-Position) I estimate the NRA condition of this rifle to be 90% +.
