This auction is for one Yugo SKS 59/66 in what appears to me to be Very Good condition.
This SKS includes the "grenade launcher" rings and the flip-up grenade launcher sight, which is in excellent condition. The sights are all in great condition and the original flip-up night sight is still present, too.
The chromed bayonet is present and has no looseness -- when opened, it locks into place rock-solid. There is also a cleaning rod under the barrel. The bolt locks back properly, the fixed magazine is in good shape.
I'm no expert on the SKS, but this appears to be in very good condition. The serial numbers I can find match -- 67450 -- on the bolt, trigger guard, stock, etc. The stock is a little darkened but is in good condition without any cracks or chips I can see. The finish is lightly worn here and there (possibly refinished, I have no idea).
Putting a small flashlight in the chamber and looking in the muzzle, the bore appears to be shiny silver metal all the way and I can clearly see the spiral of the rifling, which appears crisp. Again, I'm no expert, but the bore looks to be in excellent condition to me. (Please note, as far as I know, no Yugo SKS rifles have a chromed bore.)
This comes with a modern black nylon sling.
Will be shipped fanatically wrapped in bubble wrap to your FFL. I'm a little nervous about sending to a Curio & Relic license, but if my local FFL thinks it's okay, I'll do that as well.
Please note that it still has a little Cosmoline in a few nooks and crannies.
