The weapon operates flawlessly in single, 3 round burst and in full auto mode. The gas-operated FNC fires from a closed bolt. It uses standard AR magazines. As well, there is a fully functional gas adjustment knob. Under normal operating conditions, the knob is set to the left position. Under extreme conditions, turn the knob to the right to re-direct an extra volume of gas onto the piston face. Another feature is the grenade launching ability by using blank ammo. The flip-up, combination grenade sight/gas valve is mounted to the gas block/front sight assembly. When pivoted up to the vertical position, the sight/gas valve axis turns to close the gas vent which in turn uses all gases to propel the grenade. The action is smooth and reliable on this weapon platform using a piston operating rod patterned after the Kalashnikov system. The weapon seems to be a combination of the best of the FN FAL, M-16 and as stated the Kalashnikov. I have added a special scope mount which presently holds a Trijicon ACOG model TA31RCO-M4 scope. If you want the scope, add 1000.00 to the price. I have also added a Gemtech Quick Connect flash hider which supports a Gemtech G5, full auto rated suppressor. If you want the suppressor, add another 1000.00 to the price. I also have two FN 30 round magazines, a FN Mag Pouch, the original flash hider and some various spare parts that I will include in the sale. This is a very nice set up and the gun runs quite well.
