The top of the receiver has the arched Czech receiver ring markings. The rear sight has Turkish numerals meaning it was used in Turkish service. I have the correct bayonet- it is marked as a “C” series, but the numbers on it do NOT match the rifle. This rifle was accepted into Czech service in 1923 (E LION 23). This rifle is part of the A-D series of rifles (Serial# C6746) that were used by the Czechs before they sold them to Turkey. I believe 40,000 of these rifles were made and issued to the Czechoslovak Army in 1923. Overall, this rifle is in good condition considering it is over 90 years old! Rifling looks good; however, I did not do a detailed inspection of the bore and therefore make no guarantee of a specific condition. Buyer pays $29 UPS ground s&h to the lower 48 states.
