Savage 99E Series A .243 Winchester lever-action rifle for was my fathers as he was second owner and he purchased from a family friend back in the 1980' father never shot the rifle and since the 1980's I might have been the only person shooting less than 20 round through the rifle. I suspect the rifle has under a 100 rounds through it since made. I am selling as I am not using the rifle and since it is in great condition, I want to pass along the rifle to another person who can make use of the of Rifle specifics:
* Savage 99E X 243 Win carbine
* Serial Number B956XXX
* 20” round barrel (this is from memory)
* Chamber, bore and rifling is in very good condition.
* There are a couple small dings in the butt-stock, right-side near the Photos.
* Bluing looks to be in very-good condition.
* Finish on the rifle is lacquer in very-good condition.
* Rifle has Redfield 4X scope with . Sale is rifle/Scope only as shown in the photos.
Buyer will pay $85 California/FFL transfer fee and shipping will be responsible for any fees charged by your state or FFL at your end of the transaction. I will not be making money on FFL fees but passing fee charged to me through to buyer. If my FFL charges less, I will credit buyer back.
Gun will not ship until FFL at my end indicates all California/FFL paperwork is will ship packaged in a plastic gun case which I am only charging $15 for aside from shipping charges. I want gun protected since I do not have original will pay shipping charge based upon buyers shipping preference (overnight, 2-day, 3-day, or ground). I am not an FFL but a private party clearing out some excess firearms I am never going to make use of.
This all said my methods of payment are cash, Money order, cashiers check, and Paypal. I do not take personal checks or credit you for your understanding on you very much
