This unique German drilling (three barrels) has 16 gauge barrels over an 8mm rifle barrel. We initially believed the rifle to be 8X75 but since have decided (due to the 72 marking on the barrel ,,,, see pictures) it may be an 8mmX72R Sauer. This is a pre WWI gun and is in very nice condition overall. All numbers match and end in 275. The bores on all three chambers are excellent wood is nice and metal is above average for the age of this gun. Double triggers and separate safeties, one for the shotgun on left side of stock and another top tang for the rifle. Those in the know will appreciate the rear sight blade raises when pushing the top tang safety off, a very unique feature. The barrel measures 26.75 inches and is ornately checkered at the crown as shown in the pictures.Factory 3/4 inch sling swivels attached. We would be glad to send more pictures and welcome any input from anyone interested. As always thank you for your interest in our listings!
