German single shot rifle. I am not a millitay gun expert but I assume this was a training rifle for the German Army. It looks like a Mauser but the receiver is stamped "Gustav Genschow & Co." The gun is in excellent conditon (see photos) with just a few spots on the metal and a small amount of wear, mainly on the bolt. The gun has a tight action and bright bore. The wood is near perfect with only a few small dings. In front of the bolt the receiver is marked with a logo of e c o inside a large G. The leather sling appears to be original to the gun.
