In good condition. This is a rifle that was probably used as a hunting rifle for most of it's life, the higher spots on the wood furniture and the finish is worn down. Has dings and scratches throughout, refinishing would take care of 90% of the marks. Portions of checkering are smoothing from being carried. This is a living example of a vintage Remington 700, a gun that was built to last forever. According to barrel stamp this gun was produced in 1966. Beautiful high-grade walnut stock, bluing is in 80%+ condition. Shows a few spots of light rust speckling and towards end of barrel. Along the sides some bluing is worn away with scratches on underside of barrel. Bore is fairly clean but could use a cleaning. Has an excellent trigger pull and very smooth action. Firearm does not come with a recoil pad. Included is a vintage Bushnell Sportview 3-9X38mm waterproof scope mounted in vintage Weaver bases and rings.
