Up for sale is my 1890 Punt Gun! This gun has been in my family since gun was used up in the Chesapeake Bay was last fired with a light load in the early 1980's on the 4th of July. I will include some old photos taken in 1921 & 1922 that display the gun and ducks shot after a hunt. I also have an original sign that is in some of the photos and tells the info of the gun.
The gun is an 1890 Punt Gun, Wght.- sign says I have not put on scale, 10ft long, 1" 9/16 bore, shoots 1/4 , and, 125 ducks with one shot per large sized Punt Guns are rare in this kind of wooden stock is stock has one small peice of wood missing behind the hammer and can be seen in a couple of small cracks in wood due to barrel has some very minor pitting in a few spots mostly were it was in contact with the the gun is in good condition for being 120 years of these guns that are in this condition have been collected by musuems so don't miss out on being lucky enough to have one of your own!
