It was made in Georgia, VT U.S.A. and a very popular model in the market. It is based off the U.S. military M16A1 service rifle platform which has the longer barrel that offers better accuracy in comparison to a standard AR-15. I have put roughly 600 - 700 rounds through it in the entire 4.5 years I've owned it, and it functions flawlessly each and every time and gives very consistent tight grouping at 100 yards with just iron sights. Please note that the dust cover does not stay closed. I've had it this way since I purchased it and it never affects the functionality of the weapon. I never attempted to repair it as I also own other ARs and it stayed in my collection the majority of the time.
