Seller Description
Here is a model 99 Savage in .300 Savage caliber. This rifle has the original brass magazine counter. The receiver has a period correct but not factory installed Pachmayr pivot scope mount which enables the shooter to quickly access the iron sites when a scope is not practical. Condition is 85% and good overal for the age of this rifle. Serial # 4233xx. The scope is an Optex 3x9x32 4 plex crosshair heavy tapered to fine. Also note the original metal butt plate with the Savage SVG initials. This rifle is a nice representation of an earlier time in our Pennsylvania deer season history, and your satisfaction is guaranteed! As always thank you for your interest in our listings!
