An AR/M-16 action on steroids. This is, as most would know, unusual since 338 Lapuas are not common in semi-auto. 4) The weapon, unlike bolt actions, can follow-up with repeat shots very rapidly. 5) Sound Tech, which builds suppressors for spec ops, made the suppressor (can be seen in the accompanying picture but is NOT included). I would prefer to keep it, but if selling it was necessary in order to sell the rifle I would do so. 6) The unusual special scope mount is a Larue Tactical SPR Mount with 30 MM rings. 7) G&G folding sights are heavy duty and will fold down out of the way when the scope is mounted. 8) All of the following were shipped to Birdsongs for their famous very durable weapons’ coatings. I had the special NATO green coating rather than the black applied (known as the Black T). 1) the rifle; 2) suppressor; 3) scope mounts; 4) G&G sights; 5) even internal parts. Birdsong treated everything - including springs - except the chamber and bore. Three finishes were included of which 2 are hot bath coatings. The second is molecular: 2-3 tenths of a thousandth in thickness – very thin. .08 drag coefficient. 9. The weapon has four full length Picatinny rails on all sides of the forearm. A Picatinny rail extends onto fore end for the specific purposes of accommodating both a long scope and a night vision device which would be attached to the rail in front of the scope’s objective lens. Another Picatinny rail on the fore end is intended to simultaneously accommodate lasers and/or lights on the side. 10. The barrel is a 26” Pac-Nor heavy bull target barrel and fully free floated – complete with removable muzzle brake. I had the barrel cryogenically treated. 11. The trigger has an “adjustor” set at 3 ½ lbs. 12. The stock is fully adjustable for any size individual with an unusual range of adjustments. 13. There are attachment points for a sling. 14.
