We custom craft the original Russian SAIGA AK47, .223 caliber rifle, into the SAIGA-XTR, for those who simply want the best. The .223 Remington caliber is a flat shooting military cartridge, capable of extreme accuracy. Each original SAIGA AK47 is transformed, custom crafted “one-at-a-time”, with premium components into a precision tactical rifle. These are NOT mass produced “assembly line” rifles! Our skilled craftsmen first relocate the trigger guard next to the magazine latch. Then we install a customized US mfg. G2 trigger group for a crisp 3.5# trigger pull. We remove the factory finish by abrasive blasting with aluminum oxide. Then we skillfully apply the premium mil-spec GUN-KOTE™ metal coating and finish. Designed specifically for special weapons in harsh environments, this metal coating & finish was first specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. GUN-KOTE™ is far superior to parkerized, blued, or air dry finishes in both durability and performance. GUN-KOTE™ metal coating & finish protects metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches and will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once applied and thermal-cured, the only way to remove it is through abrasive blasting. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to ALL known gun solvents, oils, acids, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized, hard, abrasion resistant coating that meets ALL MILITARY SPECIFICATIONS for protective metal coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specs), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals". GUN-KOTE™ has outstanding heat dissipating qualities, outstanding temperature variation durability (+800 degrees F to -300 degrees F), and outstanding lubrication qualities (self-lubricating benefits from molybdenum disulfide). The USA mfg. M4 target stock adjusts to 6 positions and features an aluminum tube for maximum strength. We include an ambidextrous sling adapter on the stock. This original Russian SAIGA receiver has a steel side-rail installed to mount variable power scopes. We thread the original CHROME LINED barrel with mil-spec 14:1 left hand metric threads so you can use ANY AK47 muzzle device you so desire. The TAPCO RAZR™ tactical entry muzzle break we install on this package has multiple heat treated steel pronged tips shaped to penetrate wood, sheet-rock, and glass. The UTG® tactical quad-rail system is made from aircraft grade aluminum alloy. The four mil-spec picatinny rails provide options for mounting all accessories. Black rubber protective rail guards are included. The Israeli military pistol grip has ergonomic finger groves, hinged bottom plate and battery storage tube. The NCS ultra-compact 3x9 scope has a large 42mm objective lens, red or green reticle illumination (plus non-illuminated black), positive-precise windage/elevation adjustments, adjustable eyepiece, and protective rubber lens covers. We include a UTG locking lever side-rail mount with AccuShot rings to mount the scope with. The UTG tac-op folding bipod has spring loaded telescoping legs that add an additional 5 inches if necessary with just a touch! It is made of strong, lightweight aluminum and folds up neatly under the barrel. The single point tactical sling provides both comfort and instant shooting access.
