They feature integral scope mounts on their receivers which can never shoot loose, patented Ruger scope rings, side ejection to clear the top mounted scope, and a patented recoil buffer, which protects the scope from damage or shifting impact when the mechanism parts move automatically during firing. This family of rifles is special because they are best for small game hunting where a quick few shots might be needed. Chambered with the popular .223 Remington cartridge, these are excellent short to medium range "varmint" rifles, perfect for the ranch or small game fields. We added a premium Butler Creek side-folding stock, made of stainless steel and black polymer, with a finger groove pistol grip. Also comes with the original Ruger factory wood stock. Package includes a telescopic/folding bipod, Bushnell Banner 3x9 40mm scope, and original Ruger factory stainless steel rings.
