Collectors and long range shooters, this is a Custom Shop made Winchester Model 70. Never fired by owner. It is stamped Custom Classic Sharpshooter II and is in 7mm STW. It has a factory HS Precision stock, Schneider heavy stainless steel 26 inch barrel and was assembled in Winchester custom shop as indicated by the double stamped proof mark on the barrel. This rifle features the “Pre-64” claw extractor styled action, the bulkier target stock that is higher and more in line to produce less recoil, the pistol grip is enlarged and rounded to fit in the shooter’s palm, with a straight taper, very heavy contour #8 stainless barrel with a recessed crown. Very few of these rifles were manufactured and even fewer of the 7mm STW which came along only for a very limited time in the late ‘90’s. These rifles were promoted to be some of the most accurate Model 70 Winchester rifles ever produced. I am selling this one on consignment and as such lay-a-way can’t be used. Shipping: The shipping charge will be listed in each description. It is $49 for most firearms. Some heavy guns or those insured for over $2000 will be higher. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are higher because air shipment is required. Most firearms are shipped on Tuesday and Thursday and usually in 5 days of receipt of payment.
We package all shipments carefully and insure them. Optics are shipped Priority Mail and most other non-firearm shipments are shipped First Class.
Returns: Our return policy is simple. If for any reason you are not pleased with your purchase, you may return your item for a full refund of purchase price. Ammunition cannot be returned. It is important to us that you are happy. Guns cannot be fired or dissembled before returning them and they must be returned in the same condition as received. Notification of a return must occur within 3 days of receipt at your dealer. Shipping, convenience and dealer fees are not refundable and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Lay-a-way: If needed, we offer a 60 day lay-a-way option on most firearms. It is 1/3 now, 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days. Lay-a-way firearm sales are final and cannot be returned. If a lay-a-way is not completed the first payment cannot be refunded.
