Based on the Russian Vityaz-SN submachine gun, which has been used by the Russian Armed Forces and Police, this rifle has a 9mm caliber and weighs 7.65 lb. It uses a closed bolt and operates on the straight blowback method, following the original Vityaz design. The Kali-9 is manufactured using state-of-the-art processes in the US and features a 16.33 barrel with an integrated thumb rest for comfort and stability, as well as a fixed Vityaz style triangle buttstock. It comes with a fin grip, which is essential for a semi-automatic rifle in California, and a 10 round detachable magazine in 9*19mm length. The simulated suppressor on the barrel sleeve reduces the sound of the gunshot and the intensity of the recoil, making it a lifetime experience to use. The curved end of the triangle buttstock provides smooth comfort when it rests on your chest, and it has a hinged top cover with Picatinny, which does not require special tools for field stripping. The Kali-9 also has a front post sight and a rear leaf sight, with an OAL extended length of 33.5 inches.
